For non-contact temperature measurement – The advanced infrared temperature measuring technology provides safe, accurate, reliable and hygienic readings for measuring both forehead and ambient temperature. The forehead temperature reading lookup table was calculated and developed based on systematic skin clinical data statistics to accommodate fever and non-fever subjects, under different operating environment. The one second measurement thermometer without contacting skin is a suitable choice for obtaining body temperature and prevents cross contamination by measuring around 5 cm from the forehead.
This Temple thermometer has been clinically tested in several big teaching hospitals based on the protocol of ASTM E1965-98:2009 regulatory standard, covering sufficient febrile and normal body temperature subjects with satisfied clinical repeatability and measuring accuracy comparing to the concurrent oral temperature measurement reading.
